07/27/2010I'm a bit upset about this. I paid $33 or so for my food and some of the items I had were 8pc rolls like I expected and some others were 4pc which were not labeled as being 4pc. So okay, I can understand that. I confirmed this by looking at the menu they sent me. Doing that made me realize that I paid about 30% more than their listed prices *and* they offer free delivery when you call them. Bad business in my mind. Nicholas, ordered 6 times
12/10/2009I was somewhat disappointed by the quality and quantity of sushi I got for the price I paid. The sashimi was fine, maybe a bit expensive for the size, but the Dynamite roll was a complete ripoff. For $8 I got four pieces with a little sauce drizzled over them, and an ENTIRE half of it was cucumber. There was literally 12 pieces of cucumber in each piece. Several pieces of fish in the roll also still had skin on them. The only upside was the delivery came 20 minutes after I ordered, and even then I wish they would have taken more time to make the sushi good. Laurel, ordered 11 times

06/18/2009I am a single mom, a Berkeley grad, and have been in grad and PhD programs for-almost-ever. I can honestly say that I have been ordering from these folks for going on 6 years. Further, I am no food neophyte but worked with some of the best post-Chez Panisse restaurants in the City. Overall, this place offers up some of the most reliably good food delivery I have encountered anywhere. Not laden with MSG -- and consistently friendly delivery. When people get one or two themes right---they deserve to be recognized. Support local folks! Allison, ordered 184 times
06/02/2009When I was ordering, in the "Special delivery instructions" I added: "Please call xxx-xxx-xxxx" when outside. I honestly thought it wasn't necessary since delivery guys always call anyway, but just as a precaution. An hour and 15 minutes later, I finally called the restaurant. They told me that the food just been delivered, and 'my friend' took it. The problem? I live in a house with 30 other people I don't even know. So after an hour and 15 minutes, I was still starving, since I had no food. And I had to pay for it, too!! giedre, ordered 16 times
05/09/2009The food here is really good and while the delivery is not quick, it's not nearly as bad as the other sushi place in my area listed on this site (which took over an hour and a half!). I order from here all the time! I wish they were open earlier! Sherisa, ordered 65 times
